If you can get it on a truck to bring it to our facility, we can probably balance it. Our current limitation is 17,000 lbs. There is no minimum! The length limit is 60 feet, and our maximum diameter is 140". We balance everything to an ISO tolerance. The classification of the rotor and the operating speed of the rotor dictate the amount of residual unbalance that can be left in the rotor. |

We specialize in overhung rotors, such as "P" Blowers. Our soft bearing balancing machines permit us to balance rotors that have a negative load on one end. We also have a vertical balancing machine that will permit us to balance impellers quickly and to tolerance.

Another aspect of our capabilities is that of the unusual or out of the ordinary balance jobs. If it rotates, we can balance it. Our smallest job to date is a rotor that weighed only 22 grams! |

Machine tool chuck balancing is accomplished on-site, at your location. When your job calls for an indexing chuck, or a fixture that is required for your part, it is more than likely out of tolerance. Increase your turning speed to the maximum of the tooling, don’t be restricted to the vibration of the machine tool! Production can be increased simply by permitting DREYCO MECHANICAL SERVICES INC. to balance the chuck and fixture to permit high-speed spindle operation. Call us to discuss this procedure!

Field balancing of your equipment is provided by our experienced team of analysts. When you call, we can schedule our team to respond to your balancing problem. We accomplish the balancing procedure in the minimum number of runs, thereby reducing the strain on your motor. We measure the vibration level of the machine when we arrive and also measure the vibration level of the machine when we are through balancing. By doing this, we can determine if there are any underlying faults that may be causing the unbalance to occur. |
