Vibration Analysis

Vibration Analysis
Vibration analysis of rotating equipment, as well as stationary structures, is performed by our qualified personnel. We have the ability to analyze vibrations on just about any level. We use single channel SKF and IRD instruments. We have multi-channel recorders to record start-ups, coast-downs, long term runs, and on-stream bump test.
We can determine natural frequency resonance and record it on FM tape for further review. Transient vibrations can be captured and analyzed using this method.
Phase analysis is a basic part of all of our analysis techniques. How the machine moves is just as important as how much it moves.
Unbalance and misalignment are the two most common causes of vibration in rotating equipment. Applying the wrong solution to the problem is costly and reduces the credibility of the maintenance staff. Phase analysis reduces this possibility.
Associated with vibration analysis is PM. Predictive Maintenance is conducted all over the United States by our staff. We periodically inspect an assortment of rotating equipment throughout the United States. Our customers use these inspections to schedule the maintenance of the machines to coincide with normal outages thereby maximizing the runtime of the machines. There is no machine too far away for us to prepare and maintain a Predictive Maintenance program. Contact us to discuss a PM program. We currently have over 3500 refrigeration compressors in our database. The food service industry makes use of our service to maintain their refrigeration compressor vibration program.
